FFL Transfers in Massachusetts | CFC Tactical Firearm Transfer Services

Transfer Fee: $40

CFC Tactical strictly adheres to Massachusetts state laws and regulations regarding firearm transfers. It is your responsibility to ensure the firearm you wish to transfer is fully compliant with Massachusetts laws. Please follow the steps below carefully:

Steps for Firearm Transfer:

1. Verify Compliance:

   • Ensure the firearm complies with current Massachusetts regulations. For guidance on what constitutes an "assault-type firearm," please visit the Gun Owner's Action League (GOAL) website: GOAL Assault-Type Firearms Information

2. Handgun Compliance:

   • If transferring a handgun, confirm the exact model appears on the Massachusetts "Approved Firearms Roster." Note: Presence on the roster does not necessarily guarantee full Massachusetts compliance. Verify carefully: Approved Firearms Rosters

3. Request Transfer Authorization:

   • Before shipping a firearm, please obtain authorization from CFC Tactical. To initiate the process, download and complete our FFL Transfer Form. Once filled out, email the form along with any additional details to terry@cfctactical.com.

   • Do not ship the firearm until you have received email confirmation from CFC Tactical authorizing shipment.

Important Notes:

• If you ship a firearm to us that is not compliant with Massachusetts laws, you will be responsible for all associated shipping and handling costs to return the firearm.

• Firearms transferred to CFC Tactical must be picked up within 30 days. Firearms not picked up within this period may incur daily storage fees.

• Any non-Massachusetts compliant firearms left unclaimed for 60 days will be considered abandoned and will become the property of CFC Tactical.
